THE FIRST THREE – The second practice session of the Monaco GP 2022 by Formula 1 starred Max Verstappen, who set the fastest time with his Red Bull, stopping the clock at 1:12.462. Behind him, 65 thousandths away, a tough guy Leclerc, who aims for pole position in tomorrow’s qualifying. Third Carlos Sainz that in the final part of the second session, however, ended up against a wall. The Spaniard, tackling the Piscine variant, hit the inside of the guardrail with his right front tire, damaging the suspension and ending his race against the barriers.

THE OTHERS – Fourth place for Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), ahead of Lando’s McLaren Norris and Lewis’s Mercedes Hamilton. The other Red Bull driver Sergio Perez was only seventh. To record the excellent performance of Valtteri Bottas with the Sauber-Ferrari, eighth, and able to put himself behind the two Alpine-Renaults of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon.

QUALIFYING ON SATURDAY – Tomorrow promises to be a great battle for the qualifications which will define the starting grid. It will certainly be a fight between the two Verstappen-Leclercs, even if twists and turns are not excluded, perhaps with the inclusion of Fernando Alonso, who once again showed all his class today.

WHERE TO SEE THE GP ON TV – Qualifying on Saturday 27 May is scheduled for 4pm, and will be broadcast live on Sky and delayed on TV8 starting at 6.30pm. The GP on Sunday 28 May it will start at 3 pm and will be visible on Sky in direct and deferred up TV8 starting from 18.
