About 40 Taranto fans at risk of Daspo

There are about 40 Taranto fans who risk being banned from the game due to the clashes that preceded the playoff match in Vicenza on May 18, as reported by the Taranto edition of Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno. The Digos of Vicenza managed to identify the rossoblù supporters who allegedly took part in the clashes before the match near the station square in the Veneto capital.

According to what was reported by the Gazzetta in the documents notified in recent days, the Vicenza police wrote that each of the Taranto ultras “had a conduct that endangered public safety and that of people, during a sporting event” in particular outside the “Romeo Menti” stadium, would have been “responsible for criminal conduct, consisting in having taken an active part, incited or induced, episodes of violence” on the city route that leads from the station to the sports facility. Now each of the approximately 40 ultras will be able to examine the documents and within 10 days present written reports or documents to try to avoid the measure.

Regarding the incidents that occurred inside the stadium (throwing of smoke bombs, smoke bombs and seats inside the pitch, devastation of the toilets in the away sector) there could be further measures for further Ionian fans.
