Pepe, abandoned twice, has found his forever family thanks to the Faenza Enpa

Pepe is not even two years old and yet in his life he has already been abandoned twice and has lived in a kennel for over six months. He was taken care of by volunteers from the Faenza ENPA and the ENPA trainer Désirée Ciampi. “He is a very active, lively dog,” says Desirèè, “and he needs affection and attention. In his first home he ran away a couple of times and was then given to a second family who, however, always kept him locked in an outside box.” Pepe remained in the kennel in Faenza for over six months until Stefano and Serena, a young couple, fell in love with him and his story.

“There was an immediate empathy between them and Pepe,” says Désirée, who followed the entire process with the volunteers from Faenza. He immediately showed himself to be available and open to them, following him on long walks and the integration process was very natural. The boys also have a strong family network with grandmothers and aunts who immediately showed enthusiasm to help them, so as to never leave Pepe alone for too long. The adoption process was quick and Pepe has been living with his new family for over a month now. Stefano and Serena update us often and sent us a message that we decided to share on our page.”

“It’s been a month since our Pepe arrived in his new home! It took him very few moments to become a new member of the family, immediately winning everyone over (with a particular predilection for grandmothers). Every day we fall more in love with our wonderful, cuddly, adventurous, respectful, (not too brave) puppy! A special thanks to Elena, Désirée and all the volunteers for having us meet and get to know our special travel companion”.
