Venice Police Chief Gaetano Bonaccorso has adopted 10 preventive measures, including three mandatory expulsion orders and seven “Willy” Daspo orders against minors responsible for violent or dangerous behavior committed over the last few weekends in Jesolo (Venice) and other seaside resorts on the coast.
In compliance with the indications of the Anti-Crime Division, a psychologist from the State Police was also present at the notification of the measures, who offers help to families also in interpreting reactions and behaviors.
A notice to leave was issued against a person who was wandering around the centre of Jesolo with a kitchen knife in his hand, and who had caused alarm among passers-by.

The other two were adopted against two very young people who allegedly participated in small-scale robberies of money to the detriment of peers on the coast, in collaboration with other minors.
In collaboration with the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza, a group of seven very young people were identified who allegedly surrounded and robbed a group of boys and then other girls using a stick and a sabre.

Three other minors were chased and stopped by a policeman. All were subjected to the “Daspo Willy”.
In the first six months of the year, 124 expulsion orders were notified in the province of Venice, compared to 70 last year. There are 24 Daspo Willy orders, compared to 5 in the same period of 2023. ANSA VENETO
