Nastro Rosa Tour 2024 arrives in Catanzaro: the full program
The boats competing in the fourth edition of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour will arrive in Catanzaro on July 2, sailing along the “Tappa Cassiodoro” route.
The Figaro 3 boats will arrive in Catanzaro crossing the “Faro di Capo Salina”, a highly evocative work whose enhancement has been conducted by Difesa Servizi SpA since 2015. It is one of the twelve fascinating buildings included in the Valore Paese Italia – Fari project, the plan for the enhancement of public real estate assets promoted by Difesa Servizi SpA and Agenzia del Demanio.
The valorization of lighthouses in a dual key represents a true rebirth of evocative places, once the heritage of a few but finally a collective heritage.
In addition to the Figaro 3 category, the boats in the Waszp and Wingfoil categories will also compete in the fifth stage of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour.
In the provisional ranking, in the offshore section, team 09 Deas is in first position, followed by team 03 of the Guardia di Finanza and team 02 of the Air Force which holds third position.
Alongside the regatta, the traveling village, open to the public from July 2, will welcome all sailing enthusiasts, tour athletes, professionals and citizens who will be able to discover the world of this fourth edition of the tour. To liven up the village, a rich program of events organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Catanzaro where it will also be possible to follow the regattas and fully breathe the passion for the sea, sailing and for the beauties of the country as well as visit the stands and the food truck.
In addition, by virtue of a cooperation agreement signed by Difesa Servizi SpA and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests (MASAF), in Gaeta as in all the stages of the tour, a campaign to promote the local fish sector will take place. A real cultural and informative space aimed at knowledge of the culture of fish aimed at families and users in order to promote an icon of the Mediterranean diet so deeply embedded in the history of our country.
The Regatta Village is therefore a place full of opportunities to develop synergies between all participants and effectively promote sport, culture, science, technology, solidarity and respect for the environment. Also in Gaeta the project The Custodians Plastic Race, to protect the sea and the territory by freeing it from plastic.

In consideration of the organizational and logistical needs related to the Nastro Rosa Tour, the Navy’s Giro d’Italia a Vela currently underway in the Port of Catanzaro area, until Friday 5th July access to the docks will be possible from the barrier of the breakwater. The Municipal Administration announces this, trusting in the collaboration of all citizens and operators involved.
INSIGHTS
The Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour is an event that encompasses the many “sporting” souls of sailing. The event combines the charm of offshore regattas, disputed by the fleet of ten Beneteau Figaro 3s along the lines connecting the various stopover locations, with the dynamic competitiveness of buoy trials, where the protagonists will be the specialists of the Wingfoil and WASZP classes, latest-generation single foiling one design.
The Tour, which bears the name of the Navy and which the Armed Forces actively supports in the implementation phases, is organized by Difesa Servizi SpA in collaboration with SSi Sports & Events, and with the support of ENIT – National Tourism Agency – and the Italian Sailing Federation.
In this 4th edition, in addition to the territories that host the stages, a significant role is reserved for the Lighthouses. Also this year the boats will sail along the routes marked by the presence of these highly evocative works whose enhancement has been conducted by Difesa Servizi SpA since 2015. Twelve fascinating buildings, immersed in highly evocative contexts included in the Valore Paese Italia – Lighthouses project, the plan for the enhancement of public real estate assets promoted by Difesa Servizi SpA and Agenzia del Demanio.

The Giro dell’Italia a vela is an event that encompasses institutional, social, environmental, brand and sporting values and was created to promote the Valore Paese Italia project, of which it is an integral part. The 2024 edition will also be dedicated to technology, ecology and sustainable mobility and will be open to young people and non-professional sailors; it will involve institutions, partners, investors, and representatives of the world of tourism, communication and entrepreneurship together in a community that shares the same values.
