Following the signing of the national agreement Anfor/Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, and pending the definition of the agreement at the regional level, the municipality of Carcare activates the forestry information desk managed by Anfor Liguria. The appointment is set for tomorrow, Wednesday 3 July, from 10 am to 12 pm at the town hall.

This is the second dedicated information point, after the opening in Genoa, of an important service offered to citizens and companies in the area, to be able to have basic information and forms, and to know how to move correctly on regional or institutional sites to download documents and requests to present to the Region itself and competent bodies. A counter that therefore meets the needs of the individual citizen, to help him and accompany him in the objectives and paths to be implemented in the forestry territorial area.

The inauguration of the counter in the town hall will then be followed by the permanent installation of an educational xylotheque, again by Anfor, with about a hundred samples of native and exotic woody species. The counter, depending on the requests and needs of the area, will be able to follow, after the reduced openings of the summer period, a systematic monthly program.

“The municipal administration– explains the mayor Rodolfo Mirri – which immediately made the initiative possible, is certain of offering a necessary service for the territory, but above all for the citizens, with the National Forestry Association Liguria section which has been working with its members for decades for the knowledge, respect and valorization of environmental issues”.
