The Virtus Verona announces that the new season of the First Team will officially begin on Monday 15 July in Verona, with the usual gathering and medical visits.
The official presentation, the usual appointment in which Gigi Fresco, players and staff meet the press and commercial partners, is scheduled for the following day, Tuesday 16 July, at the usual location of the Hotel Sporting San Felice, a welcoming structure on the hills of Illasi (VR), at 5.30 pm.
In the following days, until Friday 28 July, the rossoblù will continue the first phase of preparation in Verona at the Mirko Mazzola Sports Centre with training sessions and athletic tests.
From Saturday 27 July to Monday 5 August, the team and staff will move, as per tradition, to the quiet mountains of Mezzano di Primiero, in Trentino, to carry out the second part of the preparation.
The third and final phase of the pre-season will take place again in Verona in view of the first official matches of the new season, scheduled for August 11 with the Coppa Italia Serie C and August 25 with the first day of the championship. The program of the friendly matches will be announced in the next few days, among which the one on Wednesday July 24 with Hellas Verona has already been confirmed, which will be played at the ‘La Pineta’ Sports Center in Folgaria (TN).
