The Municipality of Salerno changes its mind and, differently from what was announced in recent days, night shifts are starting for the asphalt resurfacing works. It was precisely the many inconveniences complained of by citizens and motorists that convinced the municipal administration to reformulate a schedule of works. The Municipality in particular has requested from the various service companies, which have carried out scheduled and/or urgent works in the city, a rigorous timetable for the timely and definitive restoration of the asphalt.
A systematic execution schedule (including night-time) has been drawn up to minimize the inevitable inconvenience to the population and mobility while ensuring the safety of the construction sites and the workers involved.
The first interventions have already been carried out in recent days on the Lungomare near the Grand Hotel Salerno and in Torrione Alto in the streets Vestuti, Granato, Quagliariello.
The next batches of work are planned in the following streets:
Via dei Casali from 3rd to 4th July
Via Calata San Vito from 3rd to 4th July
Via Francesco Crispi from 3rd to 4th July
Via Trucillo from 5th to 8th July
Via Francesco P. Lettieri from 5th to 8th July
These works will be carried out during the night hours between 10.00 pm and 6.00 am, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
A second phase of works will involve via San Leonardo trav. Migliaro, Ghandi, Visco, SS 18 starting from July 15. The detailed program of the subsequent works will be communicated progressively in the next few days.
