The groups Ingrifati, Red Army, Nucleus XX Giugno and the Coordination Center they called a sit-in protest to once again contest the president of the Perugia, Massimiliano SantopadreThe initiative comes at a crucial time for the possible sale of the club, with fans determined to make their voices heard.
The event, scheduled for the Friday evening 5th Julywill take place under the registered office of the Perugia. The organizers of the sit-in have released an official statement, spread on social networks, to announce and promote the demonstration.

“A few days ago we learned of the latest affront made by Santopadre to the Perugia fans, refusing yet another proposal for the sale of the club. We will not go into the details of why Sciurpa’s group withdrew, after the exhausting show that had been going on for some time. The only certain thing is that OUR Perugia remains hostage of (…) Santopadre. A few weeks ago, we had invited the sponsors to desist from continuing with their financial support, we reiterate the importance of burning the earth to this character, urging once again all those who are not bound by binding contracts to allocate their money elsewhere.
We have read in recent days, on various social media, deliriums of all kinds. Protest ideas have appeared, dictated by anger and frustration, legitimate but not fully shareable, for the moment we are living as for the championship we are going to face. One above all that of staying out and deserting the Curi, on the contrary we think that it is an obligation, now more than ever, to make our presence felt strongly, the pressure of a protest worthy of the name; this character will certainly not be the one to keep us away from our passion, on the contrary we will be the ones to make his life cursed! FRIDAY 5 JULY at 9:00 pm we will meet under the headquarters of Perugia Calcio, in the area in front of the Museum, for a SIT-IN protest against Santopadre and all his management. This is also a way to demonstrate the passion of the fans, the attachment to the shirt and to the city. Yes, even to the whole city, because it is to every Perugian who loves the Grifo that Santopadre is disrespecting, with his boundless arrogance he continues to not care about anything, putting his personal interests above the passion of the red and white people.
