For a whole week, from July 8th to 14th, the center of Busto Arsizio will be transformed into a large open-air sports field thanks to the third edition of Busto Arsizio Sport, an event promoted by the Cuore Pieno association with the collaboration of the municipal administration.

Busto Arsizio Sport is made up of three tournaments that will be played in the evening in Piazza San Giovanni (five-a-side football) and Piazza Santa Maria (beach volleyball 4vs4 and basketball 3vs3).

“We are at the consecration of this event, which is a bit like our Sanremo festival of sport – observed the sports councilor Maurizio Artusa – An event that unites the sports realities, the commercial sector, solidarity and brings the center to life with young people and sport. This year we have raised the bar even more, everything is organized in the best possible way also from the point of view of safety”.
New this year is the setting up of a “Cuore Pieno” village in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, dedicated to the little ones with inflatable equipment, a ping pong table and table football.

And not only that: during the week, meetings are planned with personalities from the world of sport who will talk about their experiences, highlighting the sporting culture and the values of sport, also in relation to social aspects.
The whole thing will have a charitable purpose: the proceeds will be donated to a project of the association Cuore pieno which aims to provide sports scholarships to children and young people whose families are in difficult conditions, to allow them to enroll in courses and sports activities.

“We want to give others a little of the luck we had without realizing it,” commented the vice president of the association Giuditta Lualdi, a well-known athlete of UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio.
