The legal dispute between Bugo and Morgan after the events of Sanremo 2020 has been resolved: Marco Castoldi was acquitted by the judge of the Court of Imperia, Marta Bossi, from the charge of aggravated defamation because “the fact does not exist”. The public prosecutor had requested a sentence of one year and six months, but Morgan wonwho commented: “Today is not my victory, but that of commitment and seriousness.”
The story between Morgan and Bugo
The facts are known and date back to four years ago during and after the Sanremo Festivalwhen Morgan changed the lyrics of the song “Sincero”, sung in duet with Bugo, to attack his colleague on stage. Castaldi had been reported by Bugo for their statements following the events of the Festival, leading to their disqualification from the competition. After four years, the case was resolved with Morgan’s legal victory.
