On the Lido club’s notebook are two probable purchases: Daniel Kouko and Federico Angiulli

On July 24, Ostiamare’s preparations for the new 2024-25 football season begin. The Lido club has established its headquarters at the “Anco Marzio” stadium in Ostia and on August 5, they are considering moving the purple and white team to a retreat in a location yet to be decided. This is before facing the friendlies preparatory to the Coppa Italia match, scheduled for the last Sunday in August, and the start of the Serie D championship with the first match on September 8th.
For the moment the association has not made its ambitions and especially its program official but, according to some rumors, seems inclined to entrust the leadership of the team to Simone Minincleri, experienced player who last season worked on the bench with coach Antonio Campagna. The Lido club has not made this choice official, while on the transfer front, two players with great experience who know the fourth division well have ended up on the notebook. They are Danil Kouko, born in 1989 in the Ivory Coast, currently playing for Pianese. The attacker is physically strong thanks to his 1.80 meters that make him dangerous in the penalty area and his marked ability to score goals has been appreciated by the fans of Montevarchi, Scandicci, Olbia and Maceratese. The other player who has ended up on the notebook of the Tyrrhenian summit is the midfielder Federico Angiulli, born in ’92, who last season played for Aquila. Angiulli has a very respectable curriculum having played for Avellino, Pisa, Ternana and Sambenedettese.

Ostiamare will reopen the gates of the stadium in via Amenduni, after two seasons of stoppage, thanks to the agreement reached between the councilor for Major Events, Sports and Tourism of Rome Capital, Alessandro Onorato, and the entrepreneur Roberto Di Paolo “patron” of the Lido club.

The first interventions of the plant restyling project have started a few days agodeveloped by the engineer Filippo Palombini and the architect Antonio Aurigemma, with the operations of dismantling the seats of the stands reserved for visiting fans. The arrangement of the Stadio dei Gabbiani begins with the new stands and the square in front of the entrance to the facility. The focus is therefore on the two lateral stands, compared to the central one, which will maintain the current layout but will be replaced with more suitable ones to satisfy the criteria of public entertainment: they will be available from the beginning of the new sports season with a capacity of about 500 seats.
Much more interesting are the interventions on the central one, which will be built later, the project of which includes a construction on the ground floor reserved to host the “Casa dell’Ostiamare” with a bar, club house and club store. Above, the steps will be built to accommodate approximately 500 fans which, added to the 500 of the lateral stands, will bring the total capacity to 1,000 spectators.
Later they will come the changing rooms were demolished and replaced with a new and modern structure that will give a different look to the stadium. As a result of these interventions, the Viola team will be able to return to planning the future of the glorious club with the ambitious projects of President Di Paolo in the foreground, who had taken the reins of the club with the idea of making a big leap in quality. After so much suffering, the faithful will therefore be able to return to the stands to cheer on their favorite team.
