HERCULANEUM. “Dining under a Different Sky” is about to kick off, a charity event dedicated to taste and solidarity that on July 9th, in the splendid setting of Villa Tony in Ercolano, will bring together over 200 of the best chefs, pizza chefs and pastry chefs of the Italian gastronomic scene. The proceeds will be donated to the association “Tra cielo e mare”, committed to helping people with mental and other types of problems.
To ensure participation in the kermessenow in its sixteenth edition, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance with a charity contribution starting from 45 euros. Alternatively, you can go to the box office at the accommodation facility on the evening of the event, subject to availability.
Guests of the location located at the foot of Vesuvius (inside the Zeno complex) will be able to enjoy the culinary delights of important names such as Michele De Leo, Domenico Iavarone, Cyrus Sicignano, Joseph Aversa, Louis Solomon. In the background the breathtaking panorama of the Gulf of Naples.
There will be no shortage of performances by artists from the world of entertainment such as the comedian Pepper Lauratothe singer-songwriter Michael Selillothe actor Francis Albanese and the singer Rich Femianopresented by the show girl Ida Little. And from 10.30pm the DJ Style packs and the speaker Roberto Russo They will make everyone dance until late at night.
“Dining under a Different Sky” was created by Dr. Alfonsina Longobardi Psychologist, sommelierexpert in food & beverage and president of the charity “Tra cielo e mare”. The theme of this edition “… once upon a time!” which celebrates Campania with its food and wine excellences and its precious historical-cultural heritage.
In addition to the renowned chefs and the many VIPs, the evening’s protagonists will be: the students of the “Viviani” hotel institute of Castellammare di Stabia; the Italian sommelier association Comuni Vesuviani; the Penisola Sorrentina Dop wine consortium; the students of the Don Orione center of Ercolano; the children of the Rugiada cooperative of Castellammare di Stabia.
