Almost two and a half kilos of hashish and marijuana shipped in a cardboard, with a sender from Monza and Brianza. They were found by the agents of the Ragusa Flying Squad in a car with at the wheel a 45-year-old of Calabrian origins and resident in the Sicilian province, arrested for possession for the purpose of dealing. The drugaccording to what was reported by the Sicilian Police Headquarters, if it had been placed on the market would have brought in thirty thousand euros.

From what has been reconstructed by the investigators, the alleged courier, already known to the police would have started “a profitable drug dealing business” having as his home was his operational base, transformed into a real “drug market”.
The police officers of the narcotics section, during observation operations, noticed “a constant coming and going of people from the house” until, in the last few days, they saw the forty-five year old leaving home “looking around”, and get on board the car with which it would be set off at high speed.

He was intercepted by the police immediately afterwardsstopped and subjected to control: in the car, “lying on the back seat” was found the cardboard box “with a sticky label” with the name of the sender, “resident in the province of Monza Brianza”and as a recipient “a “Posta Point” in the area” containing “a big plastic bag” with inside the narcotic substance, hashish for over 2 kilos and 400 grams of marijuana “for a total weight of 2,470 kg”.
Drugs that according to investigators would be precisely “was sent from northern Italy”, “intended for the forty-five year old, who would have collected it” then “to be “sold” in the squares of the Sicilian province”. A further search, in the man’s house, has allowed us to find a another 100 grams of hashishpartly “packaged in doses of 5 and 10 grams ready to be given to third-party users” e “as much as necessary for the weight and packaging of the doses of narcotics”.
