With the arrival of summer, “Aperitivo in Torre” also returns, the evening guided tour of the Ghirlandina that takes place on Fridays and ends with a toast among the participants.

The initiative starts on Friday 5th July and continues throughout the month with an appointment every Friday at 7.30pm until 27th July.

The visit, organized by the Ars/Archeosistemi cooperative with the City Promotion and Tourism service of the Municipality of Modena, lasts about an hour and is open to a maximum of 25 people. To participate, you must book online on the visitmodena.it portal (www.visitmodena.it/it/esperienze/esperienze-artecultura/aperitivo-in-torre). You only pay the entrance ticket, which costs 3 euros for adults, 2 euros for students aged 6 to 26 and over 65, free for children up to 5 years old, tour guides, journalists, disabled people and companions.

The guide will accompany the group up the two hundred steps of the Tower, up to the Sala dei Torresani, explaining the history and the civic-religious function that the Ghirlandina has had since the Middle Ages. Once back down, the visit will end with a toast together at the foot of the tower.
