ANCONA – Change of presidency at the Rotary Club Ancona 25-35. Last June 28th in the garden setting of Villa Amalia, the chef’s new restaurant Elis Marchetti, Claudia Princesentrepreneur of the Happiness Group, succeeded the outgoing president Mario Antonio Massimo Fusario.
The occasion was useful to retrace all the initiatives carried out by the Club, all intended to serve others in the local community, in the Rotary year 2023-2024. Among these were the Start Me Up project, aimed at providing training in business management to young entrepreneurs under 35, the Easter at Salesi project, in collaboration with the superheroes of the Fantasia Sogni Realtà Association, which, every year, provides for the delivery of gifts to the guests of the Salesi on the occasion of the Easter holidays, the Athletes by your side project, aimed at raising awareness among the city’s sports clubs on the topic of support for cancer patients. There were also numerous fundraising activities, including the Pink Walk, in support of cancer research, the cooking challenge, aimed, this year, at raising funds for the Lorenzo Farinelli Onlus Foundation, which has been involved in research in the onco-hematological field for years, or the fundraising to support the organization of the Berta Filava literary festival.
There were also public events open to the public, such as the meeting on bullying and youth distress, the forum on fair and sustainable energy transition and the meeting on witnesses of hope which saw the participation of Pino Masciari, one of the first collaborators of justice. The year finally culminated with the financing of the renovation of the facades of the Galleria Risorgimento: a service strongly desired by President Fusario as a testimony of the closeness of the Rotary Club Ancona 25-35 to the city. Also noteworthy is the entry of two new members: Martina Sestilli e Irene Cingolani.
