The Welfare Sector announces that the Municipal Multipurpose Open Center for Minors (CAGi), located in Piazza XIII Febbraio 1503, will open its doors to citizens on July 5, 2024 from 6:00 p.m., on the occasion of the submission of applications for admission, by interested families, for the 2024-2025 educational year.

The Multipurpose Open Centre is a structure open to the participation of minors in the area (aged between 12 and 18) and works in conjunction with the Social Services of the Area and with the scholastic institutions, through the planning and implementation of socialisation and educational-recreational interventions, aimed at promoting the well-being of the community and countering phenomena of marginalisation and juvenile hardship.

In particular, the CAGi Multipurpose Open Centre, of the Municipality of Barletta, offers the following activities:

  • school support;
  • recreational workshops, aimed at promoting socialisation, growth and personal well-being (e.g. art, dance, music and singing, computer science, theatre workshops, etc.);
  • cultural activities, information campaigns, aimed at raising awareness of youth problems and difficulties (e.g. addictions, environment, legality and safety, healthy lifestyles, parent-child relationships, etc.);
  • socio-recreational activities for leisure and promotion of sociality;
  • school orientation in the transition phase between lower and upper secondary school;
  • external courses for users, organised by local sports bodies, associations and federations.

During this open day it will be possible to learn about the structure, the activities that take place inside and the operators present there.

We also remind you that it is possible to submit an application for access to the CAGi exclusively online within and no later than 14 July 2024 at 11.59pm, by accessing the institutional website: www.comune.barletta.bt.it in the reserved section “WELFARE – Online Social Service” and, subsequently, in the section “Online Questions”. It is essential to identify yourself via Spid (Public Digital Identity System) or use the delegated SPID.
