BARI – The Police Chief of Bari has issued a warrant against three minors, already identified and investigated following the acts of vandalism of 1 January 2024 which occurred in Molfetta during the New Year’s Eve celebrationsthe ban on accessing, for a period of 2 years, all bars, pubs and public entertainment venues in the Municipality of Molfetta (in application of the so-called “Daspo Willy”) and the ban on loitering in the immediate vicinity of the same places, in the time slot from 9.00 pm to 4.00 am.

We recall that on New Year’s Eve Molfetta was the scene of a series of acts of vandalism carried out by a group of young people who, taking advantage of the celebrations, were responsible for serious behavior, spreading panic in the city streets, overturning and vandalizing a parked car, hit by the launch of numerous firecrackers and homemade devices in an attempt to set it on fire. The scenes, immortalized in some videos recorded by people present and gone viral on social networks, were also broadcast by the major national newspapers.

For this story, it is worth remembering, last January 16, 2024 the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Bari executed an order implementing the precautionary measure issued by the GIP of the Court of Trani, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, against five adults.

Now this further provision by the Police Chief of Bari.
