This morning, the Carabinieri of the ROS, with the support of various Italian provincial commands and international agencies such as the German Landeskriminalamt and the Spanish Policia Nacional, executed 14 precautionary measures for criminal association aimed at illicit drug trafficking. The operation, launched in December 2021 and coordinated with EUROJUST and EUROPOL, dismantled a criminal organization operating in Abruzzo, specialized in trafficking hashish and cocaine from Spain. The investigations led to numerous drug seizures and highlighted extensive criminal activity with international connections in Spain and Germany.
