“I carefully collect the reports relating to the competition procedures for the hiring of regional managers currently underway, reports also coming from the Trade Unions that express due concerns regarding ensuring the full efficiency of the procedures.
I would like to reassure you about this. the many competitors who are busy these days with the hard work of studying in preparation for the tests that will begin on July 4th.
My constant warning to the competent offices is to guarantee, in addition to perfect legitimacy and transparency, the most adequate serenity for the competitors in carrying out the competitive tests.
With reference to the requests to postpone the start of the competitive exams, I represent that as President of the Region I cannot and do not intend to interfere in the determination of the calendars already scheduled for the competition, as the relevant competence falls, as is known, exclusively in the relevant administrative offices.
I am confident that the competition will allow the Basilicata Region to avail itself of new managers who are more than adequately prepared and well motivated to face the numerous challenges who engage our territory and to them I extend my best wishes for success in the realisation of their projects and objectives”.
