OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE – The former Sampdoria coach (in the past also at Alessandria and Juventus Under 17), technical coordinator of the youth sector of Feralpisalò in the last season, replaces Giuseppe Scurto, who has moved to Lecce. Below is the press release from the Granata club


“Following the consensual termination of the contract with Giuseppe Scurto, whom the club bids farewell to and thanks for the work he has done in these two years with the Granata, Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that Felice Tufano is the new coach of the Primavera.

Tufano was born on December 6, 1963 in Brescia. A former professional footballer, he wore the jerseys of Vigor Lamezia, Brindisi, Campobasso and Brescia, among others. Having undertaken a career as a coach, after a few seasons as a first-team coach, he specialized in leading youth teams working in the youth systems of our football: he boasts great experience in the Primavera championship having matured more than 200 benches in this category, also achieving appreciable results such as first place with Sampdoria in the 2020-2021 regular season and reaching the playoffs in the following season. In addition to the organization of the team’s game, Tufano has always paid a lot of attention to the individual growth of the footballer. Last year he was the technical coordinator of the Feralpisalò Youth Sector.

The 2024-2025 season of the Granata Primavera will begin with the retreat on July 8 in Turin”.
