The Nicolosi neighborhood

He attacked the police officers on duty and was arrested. More riots in the Nicolosi district of Latina where a Tunisian citizen ended up in handcuffs for threats and resisting a public official.

In particular, the flying squad officers intervened around midnight in the Nicolosi area, where a foreign man had been reported wandering around with an iron bar in his hand and shouting words in Arabic.

Arriving immediately on the scene, the police tried to locate the man, who in the meantime was moving on foot through the surrounding streets, finding him not far from the location of the report.

The foreigner, bare-chested, at the sight of the officers began to scream, threatening to kill them and approaching them dangerously and in a threatening manner to the point of attempting to punch one of the two officers in the face, failing only due to the officer’s promptness.

At that point the police officers, considering that the man showed no signs of cooperating, first took out the TASER to try to dissuade him and then reached him with the Caspicum spray supplied, which made it possible to render him harmless and arrest him for the crimes of resisting and threatening a public official.

At the Police Headquarters, the man was photographed and several previous convictions for crimes against the person emerged against him, as well as the obligation to report to the judicial police in force.

The Public Prosecutor on duty was informed and the detention was ordered in the Police Headquarters holding cells, pending the summary trial which was held on Saturday morning and concluded with the application of a 6-month prison sentence, with conditional suspension of the sentence.
