July, time for the Youth Festival for the Italian rowing, which is preparing to experience one of its key weeks of the season thanks to the event for Students and Cadets that for years has attracted thousands of young people from all over Italy. This year too, the Schiranna of Varese is the chosen location for the Festival, and while we wait to know the numbers, one of the certainties is represented by the prizes, many, put up for grabs for the occasion by the Italian Rowing Federation. We are talking about the prizes drawn by lot, which will be awarded at certain times between one race and another, and which will further cheer up the participation of many clubs in the race scheduled from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 July.
In total, there are 40 prizes up for grabs in the draw during the Youth Festival, specifically: two 7.20 singles; two Barvy singles; three pairs of smoothie oars; three stroke counters; 12 pairs of 7.20 oars; seven megaphones; three pairs of Macon paddle sculls; three pairs of rowing shoes with support; five sets of scull rowlocks. 40 prizes, 40 extra incentives to experience the 2024 Youth Festival as protagonists, perhaps even hoping for a stroke of luck during the draw.
