RECANATI – Emanuele Pepa’s team is official. Exactly one week after winning the runoff, the new mayor announced the municipal council that will administer Recanati with him for the next five years. Roberto Bartomeoli will be the deputy mayor, supported by the councilors Ettore Pelati, Emanuela Pergolesi, Sabrina Bertini e Maurizio Paoletti.

“We have put together a strong team – says Pepa -, chosen for their competence, concreteness, ability to listen to citizens and for their love for Recanati. The team is made up of both experts and young people, both to guarantee government security and the right perspectives and visions for the future of our city. Together we will work with commitment, passion and a sense of responsibility to repay the trust of citizens”. Pepa will hold the following delegations: human resources, urban security and legality, municipal police, European Pnrr funds, Civil Protection and digital transition. Deputy mayor Roberto Bartomeoli, a 60-year-old employee, has been assigned the delegations for public works, urban decorum, school buildings, support for the local economy and production activities, participating companies, development of mobility and roads and parking. Ettore Pelati, 28, teacher, councilor with delegations for cultural activities, protection of cultural heritage, support for tourism and commercial activities. Emanuela Pergolesi, 38, lawyer, councilor with responsibilities for social services, integration and family policies, disability support, youth policies and employment, relations with the social sphere, obstruction and nursery and equal opportunities. Sabrina Bertini, 68, lawyer, councilor with responsibilities for budget, finance, taxes, assets, relations with the ANCI and waste sorting. Maurizio Paoletti, 64, engineer, councilor with responsibilities for relations with neighborhoods and citizen participation, urban planning, environment, public and school transportation, private construction, housing policies, health and sports. The respective councilors will have to identify four figures they trust to assist them in their mandate. “Furthermore – Pepa emphasizes – I will involve the city councilors in the exercise of specific delegations to dedicate the right attention to all aspects of the life of our community. Lastly, it is my intention to open a dialogue with the opposition to identify a president of the Commission and a councilor for the Board of Directors of the Ircer Foundation”.
