These are initiatives created by young people from the area to bring to our cities notable eventswhere the kids feel like the real protagonists: behind these ideas there are the minds of Giuseppe Archersfounder of the South Italy International Film Fest and of Michael Piazzollaproject manager del Festival.
In the first evening, moderated by Julia Gadaleta like the two following ones, various guests alternated such as Rita Marinelli, Franco Angeli and Livia Bonfazi and the short films “Ballatoio n.5” (directed by Chiara De Angelis), “Nel Silenzio” (directed by Rita Marinelli), “48 gradi / 118 °F” (directed by Andrea Di Iorio) and “La rentrée” (directed by Franco Angeli) were screened.
The second evening was an opportunity to attend the presentation of a book, “Ancora” by Sara Fiumefreddo and then a series of short films: “Cinquantadue” by Sebastiano Casella and Andrea Bernardini, a profound reflection on violence and love, “Un bacio di troppo” by Dave Given, also focused on love and its nuances, “A Kid’s Story” by Gabriele Galante, who was unable to attend live and other works of oriental cinema, thanks to the collaboration with Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival. Guests also included Gelsomina Prositto and Vincenzo Lamagna (Nano Film Festival).
The third and final event of the pre-festival is equally rich, with the screening of the short films: “Il barbiere complottista” by Valerio Ferrara, “Acqua, il nostro futuro da protezione” by Paolo Damiano Dolce, “Jazzo Inferno” by Cinzia Clemente and Gerry Ciccimarra, “Senza Parole” and “Guinea Pig” by Antonello De Leo.
Many topics were addressed during the pre-festival, which represents only a taste of an even more structured initiative, which will bring national and international guests to Barletta.
