LATINA – The financiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Latina, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Latina, they carried out on Monday a precautionary seizure order which, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Latina, has invested the assets of a company operating in the road haulage sector in Aprilia. According to the reconstruction, this entrepreneurial reality would have from 2018 to 2023 failed to pay VAT and withholding taxes on approximately 1000 employees, located throughout the national territory. The huge alleged financial damage clerk: approximately 20 million eurosThe investigations conducted by the Guardia di Finanza of Aprilia have allowed the collection of evidence to support the accusation of the Prosecutor’s Office, in order to hypothesize the violations of omitted tax payments.
On the basis of the evidence gathered, the investigating judge has ordered against the legal representative of the company, preventive seizure, direct and in the equivalent formaimed at the confiscation of money and goods for the total amount of 19,442,852.26, euros as profit from the alleged crimes, or failure to pay withholding taxes due or certified, failure to pay VAT. The execution of the measure was carried out following a targeted activity by the same Guardia di Finanza of Aprilia to identify the sums evaded from taxes on current accounts, deposits or other banking relationships, as well as to reconstruct on a patrimonial level the amount of movable or immovable assets registered to the subjects involved. The activity also carried out with the help of a canine unit, sent in support by the Fiumicino Finance Group, has allowed the seizure, for subsequent recovery to the treasury, of sums of cash, financial assets, current accounts, share funds for approximately 3 million euros, 5 properties for a value of approximately 700 thousand euros, company shares and vehicles of various kinds, up to the full amount of the seizure.
