Paolo Benvegnù’s dawn concert at the Fortezza in Arezzo on Saturday 14 July will be just the icing on the cake of a 20th edition to remember. Before the singer-songwriter of “È inutile parla d’amore”, the 2024 edition of the MenGo Music Fest will bring five days of concerts to the Prato park, all with free admission, which from 9 to 13 July will see a unique cast every evening and some of the best summer tours around such as those of Rose Villain and Dargen D’Amico. Every day there will be space for local talents and rising stars of music, alongside the big names. It starts on Tuesday 9 July with Venere Gommosa, Coca Puma, Cacao mental, and to close the reggae of Africa Unite and pioneers of the raggamuffin Sud sound system. On the 10th there will be Novella, Alice Mascritti, Lamante, Marta del grandi, Ele A a name on the launch pad, and closing with one of the aces of the last Sanremo Rose Villain.

With her participation in MenGo, the artist also announced the “Radio Sakura summer tour”, waiting for the live show that she will present in clubs in October. Nine dates are coming up until September, an opportunity to listen to the new hits of “Radio Sakura” live for the first time. This summer, Rose Villain will also open the Italian concerts of the Coldplay tour at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

And again, on the MenGo stage on the evening of July 11th, Pupo’s very young nephew arrives: Capaleo, he is 18 years old and makes a very current pop that he writes and composes. Then Frambo X Scicchi, Visconti, Il mago del gelato, to close the evening Thru Collected and Mace one of the most important producers in the rapper, urban world. Friday, July 12th, an international cast arrives: Barkee Bay, Santamarea, Birthh, Studio Murena, grand finale with Mura Masa and John Talabot for an evening all to dance with the leading names of world electronic music. Saturday, July 13th, grand finale with Gaia Morelli, Bluem, then the winner of the last X Factor Sarafine, then a super marathon launched by Dargen D’Amico, the artist fresh from the success of “Dove si balla”, after two years, returned to the Sanremo Festival with “Onda Alta”.

On stage for the final evening of the festival also Okgiorgio, Cosmo and the DJ set of Klang Club for the aftershow. But it doesn’t end here. On July 14th at 6:30 concert in the Fortezza at the first light of dawn by Paolo Benvegnù, with the ticket also breakfast for the participants.

Benvegnù arrives in Arezzo after the release of “È Inutile parla d’amore”, his latest album released by Woodworm and distributed by Universal Music Italia.

But MenGo Music fest is also cinema. On Monday 7th July at the Arena Eden screening of El Paraiso by Enrico Maria Artale. The film presented at the last Venice Film Festival, won the award for Best Screenplay and Best Female Performance in the Orizzonti section. The director Enrico Maria Artale and the leading actor Edoardo Pesce will be present. The actress Silvia d’Amico and Marco Compiani, curator of MenGo Cinema, will moderate.

Friday 12th July at 7:30 pm at the Eden with free admission the screening of the first 2 episodes of the Antonia series, in the presence of the author and leading actress Chiara Martegiani. And again: Sunday 14th July at 9:30 pm at the Eden Arena the screening of the documentary Cocoricò Tapes by Lorenzo Tavella.
