Tragic road accident in Auletta, in the province of Salernounfortunately proved fatal: the victim is Francesco Marrielloa 16-year-old boy originally from nearby Buccino. The accident occurred late on Sunday 30 June: from what we understand, Francesco Marriello was returning home, riding his scooter when, for reasons that are still being investigated, while he was crossing the fraction Morning of Aulettahe lost control of the two-wheeled vehicle and fell, violently impacting the asphalt.
The 16-year-old was promptly rescued by 118 health workers who, given his health conditions that immediately appeared serious, opted to transfer him to the Cardarelli hospital in Naples. Unfortunately, Francesco Marriello’s conditions never improved and, yesterday afternoon, Monday 1 July, the 16-year-old died in the hospital in Naples.
The community of Buccino, the town where the boy lived and where he was known, was shocked by the news of the premature death of the 16-year-old. The mayor Pasquale Freda wanted to express the condolences of the entire community to the family: “A young life leaves us. Without words, only affection, love and closeness for family and friends. The pain is unacceptable. Goodbye Francesco” wrote the mayor on Facebook.
