Kammerfestival: after the success of the inaugural concert with the ensemble Namaste clarinets and percussions on Sunday 23 June, the 2nd appointment is underway Thursday 4th July at 7pm at the Palazzo Massucc Courtyardi, Via Roma. An almost celestial atmosphere characterizes this concert of the Duo String Crossedformed by two internationally renowned artists Chiara Franceschini (violin) and Maria Chiara Fiorucci (arpa) with an interesting music program entitled: “The Son of the Stars”.

Chiara Franceschini she graduated in violin with honors at the age of seventeen at the Conservatory of Music in Perugia, and perfected her skills with Felice Cusano at the School of Music in Fiesole and subsequently at the Musikhochschule Münster (Germany); Winner of the 2015 “Musik von heute” competition with music by John Cage and Erkki-Sven Tüür (in the presence of the composer) as first violin of a string quartet, she participated in the International Ensemble Modern Academy 2017 as part of the Klangspuren Festival Schwaz (Austria), with Sofia Gubaidulina as composer in residence, as well as in the Lucerne Festival Academy 2018 and 2019 and in the Lucerne Festival Alumni, with whom she performed at the Berliner Philharmonie, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Philharmonie de Paris under the direction of Matthias Pintscher, Péter Eötvös, Simon Rattle, George Benjamin and Riccardo Chailly.

Maria Chiara Fiorucci She collaborates as a soloist and orchestral member with important concert institutions, including Icarus Ensemble, Nabla Ensemble, Orchestra del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Orchestra del Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Orchestra del Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, Seoul Central Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Symphony Orchestra, with which she has performed under the direction of illustrious maestros, including Peter Tiboris, Farhads Stade, Carlo Palleschi, Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani. She has an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad (Croatia, France, Austria, Thailand and the United States), performing in prestigious halls, such as the Thailand Cultural Center – Bangkok, Goldener Saal – Musikverein in Vienna, Stefaniensaal – Graz and Universitätsaula – Mozarteum in Salzburg and Symphony Space Hall in New York. An eclectic harpist, she recently performed at the Umbria Jazz festival with Fabrizio Bosso and Paolo Fresu.

In case of bad weather the concert will take place at the Auditorium of the World Center of Poetry and Culture “G. Leopardi”.

End of July, Wednesday 24th and Sunday 28th, appointments dedicated, as per tradition, to the students of the Royal College of Music in London with which the Civica Scuola di Musica B.Gigli has been collaborating for twenty years now, hosting the International Interpretation Seminars. Saturday 31st August appointment with the ethno-music-world: “Nostos Duo” with Massimo Valentini on the sax and Marta Celli on the Celtic harp at the Ninfeo of Palazzo Bettini in via Falleroni in collaboration with the “A. Bettini” Foundation. It concludes Friday 13 September at the Cathedral of S.Flaviano with a rarity: the horn concerts of WAMozart with the quartet B.Gigli and Paolo Valeriani, horn of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra.

Kammerfestival is organized by the Municipality of Recanati Department of Culture and the Civic School of Music B.Gigli.
