CANEPINA (Viterbo) – The first Canepina City Council meeting after the recent elections took place on Saturday 29 June. Lorenzo Fanelli was indicated as Group Leader of the Council Group “Civic for Canepina“. Fanelli will lead the young new councilors Innocenzo Proietti and Giuseppe Antonini.
During the council, the council committees were formed. At the end, the group leader Fanelli declared: “We will make a responsible but severe opposition, we will be the guarantors of the citizens so that they are always informed about everything.”
As a first act, “Civica Per Canepina” opposed the increase in TARI, which will affect families and commercial activities. In fact, the majority was careful not to vote for it before the municipal elections 20 days ago. The majority, as we predicted, continues with the harassment of the taxpayer through taxation.
Furthermore, the group did not vote on the 2023 budget report. They also made the new councilors vote on it, still unaware of all the necessary information and an act that, in our opinion, should have been up to the old council body.
“Civica Per Canepina” will also guarantee respect for the city council, which must be the place of discussion and synthesis, and not simply a place where decisions taken elsewhere are ratified. Our commitment to Canepina and all citizens will continue with dedication.
We wish the new mayor Avv. Aldo Maria Moneta and the new councilors a good job. We will always be available to the citizens.
