The festival Umbria that rocks is ready for an unforgettable edition. In addition 30 eventsbetween concerts and appointments, approximately 200 artists involved e 59 band. These are the mind-boggling numbers of the five days of the eventbetween music, talks and meetings in the heart of historic center of Perugia, from the early hours of dawn until late at night. The eleventh edition, organized by Roghers staff Apshas been scheduled since Wednesday 3rd to Sunday 7th July and will involve approximately 350 workers and volunteers. The presentation of the event took place Monday 1st July a Donini Palace in the Hall of Honour. Behind this festival – he added – there is a lot of culture and of course extraordinary music that appeals to young people but also to those who are young at heart. It is an event that enriches the season of major summer events in Umbria and for this reason how Region we have always supported this event”. A festival that for the new mayor Ferdinand transmits “an enormous sense of appearance. The roles may change but the belief remains the same as I saw this festival being born in the dreams and intentions of those who had the tenacity and optimism to make it explode. I saw it grow to become what it is today, a reference festival for the Italian cultural and musical panorama. The strength and energy that the volunteers have shown is a wealth of wealth, because I know well the passion that moves them, and what they give back to Perugia these days with their work is vital and expresses a great sense of community. For this reason the Common will always be close to the festival.” From Horacein his first edition as director of National Galleryexplained how the events will take place this year within the museo: “They will no longer be guided tours as in the past but conversations that will solicit artists above all for their relationship with art, starting from the works of Galleria but reaching up to contemporary art. Between one chat and another there will be space for music”.

The entire event will take place on 8 stages, offering a unique 360-degree experience throughout the historic centre of Perugia. Dal Main stage at the Giardini del Frontone, with a lineup of the highest level: in fact, it ranges from the elegant and refined songwriting of Colapesce Dimartino (July 3) to the most indie of Thunderbolts (July 4th), from quality, chart-topping pop Mahmood which will start the Summer Tour 2024 from the Umbrian capital (5 July, sold out) passing through the rap of Salmo e Noyz Narcos (July 6, sold out). Grand finale with the pop punk evening Rebel Sunday with free entry (7 July) together with La Sad, Vanilla (Ex Vanilla Sky) e Rag dolls. AtUniStrapg stageon the rooftop of Palazzo Gallenga, 3 panel different themes that will take place on July 3, 4 and 5. It starts on July 3 with Gender violence: Flavia Carlini (author, popularizer and political activist), Maria Luisa Favitta and Giulia Canalicchio (Libera…mente Donna) and Stefania Tusini (UniStraPG) will speak. Thursday 4 July continues with Accessible culture: speakers Marika Lerario and Argentina Cirillo (AAA Project), Mattia Liguori (Inclusion Fest). Last appointment on Friday 5 July with Discrimination in the cultural industry: Alessandra Micalizzi (sociologist and SAE professor), Irene Tiberi (Equaly) and Giacomo Nencioni (UniStraPG). 5 more panels in the StageGpt at Tangram Aps in Borgo XX Giugno. It starts on Wednesday 3 July, AI as a business partnerwith the companies Eagleprojects and Balzo. Thursday 4 July, “AI and education”with Damiano Avellino (Founder of “Memoraiz”). Friday 5th July, The Cheshire Cat – The World’s Most Famous Open Source Italian AIwith Piero Savastano (Founder of Lo Stregatto). Saturday 6th July, You become famous with AIwith Elvis Tusha (Consultant in Digital Transformation & Creators). The panels will be moderated by Giovanni Lo Leggio. The last one, with Centrifuga Podcast, is scheduled for Sunday 7 July and with the title AI in the world of music: Everything Is Italian (Instagram page) and Quattro Giornate (Producer) will speak. There is also room for food and relaxation with the Chill areain front of the entrance to the Frontone gardens, where from 6 pm the 100% made in Umbria food&beverage, branded Mastri Birrai Umbri with a bar and equipped food area curated by Testone, will be the protagonist. Finally, at the T-Trane Record Store in Borgo XX Giugno there will be breakfasts to the sound of music from ore 9 in the morning with Deejays for breakfast: Go ahead (5 July), The Moratelly Family (July 6), Don Carmelo e Matthew Moroni (July 7).
