PAVIA – The new visual identity of theAC Pavia, with a logo that aims to represent the club’s legacy and its future. The club, led by president Giuseppe Nucera and general manager Antonio Dieni, has unveiled a logo that maintains the historic white and blue colors, but with a more modern and stylized design.

However, the presentation was met with strong protests from the fans. A banner with the words “YOU ARE NOT AC PAVIA!” was posted outside the stadium before the press conference, and fans took to social media to express their dissent using the hashtag #NoToTheNewLogo. The club also limited comments on some Facebook posts about the new logo, further fueling discontent among fans.

Criticism from the fans

The criticisms focus on several aspects. First, many fans do not appreciate the new logo, considering it not representative of the club’s history and values. Second, they criticize the lack of involvement of the fans in the logo creation process. Finally, they accuse the club of not representing the city of Pavia and of not caring about the club’s future.

The company tried to respond to the criticism, underlining that the new logo represents a step forward towards the future and that the fans will always be at the center of the project. However, their words seem not to have convinced the fans, who continue to contest the new logo and the management of the club.

The unveiling of the new logo has further heightened tension between the club and the AC Pavia fans. It remains to be seen whether the club will be able to regain the fans’ trust or whether this rift will lead to more serious consequences.
