Many registrations have already arrived from foreign countries, which will certainly exceed the 111 presences of last year and which in total brought 702 people to Trani from all over the world. Or again”, and concludes “to seal the twinning with Mar De Plata (Piazzolla’s birthplace, in Argentina) which began several years ago, we would like an Argentine artist to create a work of art dedicated to Piazzolla to be exhibited at Trani and vice versa, that an artist from Trani did it in Argentina. The Adriatic city seems so small and distant, yet the interest aroused by the International Trani tango continues to grow and cross oceans together with the authority achieved in eleven years of work and the undeniable charm of being able to dance on a wooden floor 400 m2 at the foot of the sumptuous cathedral of Trani overlooking the sea. Many factors that have attested to the value of the event capable of attracting the best dancers and musicians from all over the world and institutions. New this year is Tango on tour Sunday 30 June in Margherita di Savoia, which will host the first traveling stage of the event with a free milonga in Piazza Libertà starting from 7pm with tj Francesco Azzollini, and the free tango therapy event with the support of Lilt.
