Rinascere dal Mare: this is the name of the next initiative of the Rinascere movement. It will take place on Thursday 27th in the splendid setting of Molo Pennello, at the Ippocampo nautical club, and will be a real happening around the themes of the sea.
The “Talk Suggestions and reflections summarized in interventions that are not decisive, but with the precise aim of stimulating public discussion on the riches and prospects linked to the sea. A journey that will not end on June 27th.
Molfetta lacks nothing: it is a beautiful city and we certainly do not lack the resources to escape from a condition of marginality that is restrictive for us. The sea can truly be the driving force of a transition towards the future. We can return to being a leading city” – states Corrado Minervini, Coordinator of the Rinascere Movement – “We need to follow new routes: politics must renew itself in content and forms, get ever closer to citizens and to the things we care about. Like our sea.
We must admit it: the real challenge is not that of the opposition, but that of change” – declares Felice Spaccavento, Rinascere municipal councilor – “Rinascere dal Mare, like the REC and all Rinascere’s public outings, is the aim of renewing the political proposal in form and content, meeting different interlocutors each time. We need a lot of listening, many heads, many points of view. Politics has the task of summarizing. I hope we will be able to do it better and better with the other progressive forces in our city.
The initiative will begin at 7.30 pm according to a very rich and very dynamic program. During the event there will be:

The event will be accompanied by various artistic inserts, which will play with the public’s emotions, memories and discoveries. Performance of movement, whispers and music of the sea by the artistic collective Magnitudo, Pietro Capurso, Felice Altomare, Giada Panunzio, Domenico De Gioia. During the evening, the video of the song “Così fioresce il mare”, Mizio Vilardi’s latest work, will be screened.
