PERUGIA – The Carabinieri of the Perugia company have arrested three citizens of Albanian origin, two 24-year-olds with no criminal record and a 38-year-old with a police record, all domiciled in Perugia, in flagrante delicto for the hypothesis of the crime of possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing. .
The military, during a control service on the territory, while passing along Corso Garibaldi, noticed a man who, suspiciously, took a package out of his trousers and suddenly handed it over to another individual who, after hiding it in his pocket , immediately left in a car.
The operators, who promptly intervened, stopped and searched both subjects, finding in the possession of the man driving the car 33 heat-sealed wrappers containing a total of 29 grams of cocaine, the cash sum of 825 euros in banknotes of various denominations, probably believed to be proceeds of the illicit activity and a mobile phone.
The operations were also extended to the home of the two individuals and, inside that of the alleged drug dealer, a third compatriot was identified, finding a further 11 wrappers for a total of approximately 25 grams of narcotics, a precision scale, another telephone mobile phone and the cash sum of 120 euros.
Accompanied to the barracks, the three were arrested on suspicion of the aforementioned crime and, as ordered by the judicial authority, they were accompanied to the prison in Perugia Capanne. At the end of the validation hearing, the investigating judge of the court of Perugia, recognizing a serious and solid set of circumstantial evidence against the first two subjects, both for the methods of concealment and packaging of the narcotic and for the quantity, ordered the precautionary measure of the residence ban in the Umbria region.
