LA SPEZIA – The Evergreen shipping company, one of the most important in the world, which calls at the ports of La Spezia and Genoa, has included its latest generation container ships in the Far-East-Mediterranean service.

This was communicated this morning by Andrea Fontana, head of the liner agencies of the Dario Perioli spa company which represents the primary shipping company both in the Port of La Spezia and in the Port of Genoa through the Sisam general agents of Livorno.

The latest generation ships that will enter the Far East-Mediterranean globetrotting line have a carrying capacity of 20,160 teus, are 399.98 meters long and 58.8 meters wide.

The first ship to arrive in the Port of La Spezia will be the Ever Govern from July 16th, followed by the arrival of its sister ships, the Ever Golden and the Ever Gentle.

“The opening of this new line of the giants of the sea is the clear and concrete confirmation – comments Andrea Fontana proudly – of the trust and esteem that the global shipping industry places in our port system and our logistics structures.”

Trust and esteem that translate into traffic and work, strengthening the ongoing recovery of movements and operations of the La Spezia Container Terminal, already extensively tested to receive these new generation ships with a capacity of over 20 thousand teus.
