Concrete help from the marathon

Like every year, the Ravenna Marathon proved to be a point of reference in the socio-welfare sector of the area, donating a total of 6,555 euros to various types of projects.

Last Monday the president of the Ravenna Runners Club, Stefano Righini, met with the representatives of the volunteer organizations who in the months preceding the event promoted their status as charity partner of the organization and in particular of the Martini Good Morning 10K by collecting memberships among members and supporters.

During a ceremony hosted at the Grand Hotel Mattei, in the presence, among others, of the Sports Councilor of the Municipality of Ravenna Giacomo Costantini, Stefano Righini handed over the checks with the amounts linked to the number of registrations collected.

These are the donations in detail: Sport Senza Frontiere 1,855 euros; Ail 1,465 euros; Fabionlus 1,360 euros; Running Without Borders 655 Euros; Ageop 310 euros; Ravenna Diabetics Association 285 euros; Pink Line 270 euros; Banco di S. Antonio 255 euros; Emergency Volunteers Group Ravenna 100 euros. “Also for the 2023 edition – declared Righini – through the non-profit project we have concretely supported the numerous projects that third sector volunteers carry out on a daily basis”.

The next marathon will take place on November 10th.
