The disused area of approximately 800 square meters located in the Musicisti area of Modena, between via Mascagni and via San Giovanni Bosco, will be redeveloped to create a car park for 19 cars and some flowerbeds, with the planting of new trees to replace the old ones. demolished which were at risk of collapse. The intervention has a value of 120 thousand euros and will make it possible to improve road traffic safety in the area near which the San Giovanni Bosco school is also located. With the new car park, in fact, the pressure for parking in the nearby streets will be reduced with improving effects, according to the technicians, for the road system, including cycle and pedestrian traffic. The flowerbeds will have the function of separating the parking area from the road. Vehicle access will be from via San Giovanni Bosco, the exit on via Mascagni. Inside, 16 parking stalls will be built in self-locking filtering concrete, while another six stalls are planned on the Via Mascagni side. A pedestrian path is planned on the north side of Via San Giovanni Bosco, at street level, which will be connected to the existing sidewalk on the east side of the schools within the public park.
