Sunday 2 June, The shelter park-kennel in Monza will open its doors for the new edition of the long-awaited fsummer of the Amici Cucciolotti / Open Shelters Daypromoted by ENPA of Monza and Brianza in collaboration with Pizzardi Publisher. The event, which will be held from 2pm to 6pm in via San Damiano 21, promises a day full of activities, visits and fun for the little ones and their families.
A refuge to discover
During the day, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the various departments of the refuge, meeting dogs, cats and a variety of herbivorous animals such as horses, ponies, goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks, chickens and turtles. A unique opportunity for adults and children to come into contact with animals that are difficult to see in an urban context.
The return of “I have it, I miss it”
One of the events most awaited by children is the famous one “I have it, I miss it”the meeting dedicated to exchange of stickers of the album Cucciolotti Friends 2024. Thanks to this event, young collectors will be able to complete their album more quickly by exchanging stickers with other children and with the help of an ENPA representative who will coordinate the exchanges.
The party will also offer many other activities for the little ones. At face painting gazebo, children will be able to transform into their favorite animal or dedicate themselves to painting by coloring animal images. In addition, it will be possible to participate in a fun meadow goose game.
Education and awareness
The event will not only be fun, but will also have an important educational aspect. Children and adults can learn how interact correctly with an unfamiliar dog, discover the secrets of the world of cats and bees thanks to the explanations of expert beekeepers, and learn first aid techniques for wild animals in difficulty.
It will also be possible visit the splendid Biodiversity Oasis, a peaceful corner away from the bustle of the city, increasingly rich in plants and flowers. A real oasis that represents a refuge for local fauna and an educational area of great value.
