The architect Francesco Gentilini and the engineer Francesco Bursi are the two new members of the Commission for architectural quality and landscape of the Municipality of Modena. Selected based on the ranking of professionals who participated in the 2020 call, they replace the two architects (Anna Allesina and Cristiano Ferrari) who resigned in recent weeks for personal reasons.
The other three members of the Commission, a consultative body of the municipal administration in office until November this year, are the architect Alberto De Giovanni and the engineers Elisa Abati and Jessica Fantini.
The Commission has the task of expressing its opinion on the release of municipal provisions regarding landscape assets, on building interventions subject to Scia and permission to build in buildings of historical-architectural, cultural and testimonial value identified by municipal planning instruments and on the approval of instruments urban planning when required by the Urban Building Regulations (Rue).
