The conference promoted by the Order of Nursing Professions and scheduled for next Tuesday, from 8.30 am, at the Opi headquarters, located in the San Benedetto business center, is entitled “How to manage obstetric emergencies”.

During the conference, which sees Maria Rita Falco Abramo, director of the UOC of Obstetrics and Gynecology of San Giovanni di Dio, and Salvatore Occhipinti, president of Opi Agrigento, as scientific leaders, topics of significant importance will be discussed such as “Physiological childbirth” addressed from “The midwife’s point of view” edited by Mariangela Genuardi and with “The voice of the gynecologist” by Annasole Chiarelli.

Calogero Rinoldo will talk about “Operative birth with obstetric suction cup” while, after the coffee break, the theme of the conference will be centered on “Shoulder dystocia” with Jennifer Distefano who will discuss “Obstetric assistance” and Pierlaura Traversa de ‘ Medical assistance”.

The conference will continue with the talks by Noemi Ceresi “Manual seconding”; by Rosa Ferraro “Post-partum hemorrhage: how, when and why” and by Maria Rosa Canzoneri “Obstetric management” until the lunch break, at the end of which, therefore around 2.30 pm, Giada Vizzini will discuss “The nursing management” immediately followed by Rossana La Porta with “Emergency caesarean section: how, when and why”; by Marika Chiapparo “Midwife management” and by Concetta Russello “Nursing management”.

The last topic will concern Preeclampsia: Andrea Alletto “Medical assistance” and Federica Delfino “Nursing management” will discuss it. The work will end around 5.30pm with the plenary discussion.
