The Cna and Carivit Forme e colori competition dedicated to artistic craftsmanship ends today with the awarding of the top three.

The awards ceremony at Palazzo Brugiotti, Viterbo. The president of the Carivit foundation, Luigi Pasqualetti and the president of Cna Viterbo and Civitavecchia, Alessio Gismondi, presented the prizes. The vice president of Cna Attilio Lupidi will moderate. Also in the room was the vice mayor of Tarquinia, Luigi Serafini.

First prize in the artists section to Marco Bracci from Civita Castellana, second to Giacomo Del Giudice from Greve in Chianti, third to Gianluca Merlonghi from Rome. Special mention for Catia Roncella from Montefiascone.

For the section dedicated to artistic institutes, all three prizes went to the Francesco Orioli artistic high school.

First place, Nicole Vinci, Izabel Marisa Bazdragan, Angela Sofia Marzi, Fatime Redjepi, Zebidjete Redjepi, Marika Cutigni and Eva Andreini.

Second place, Gabriele Cleri, Marika Giganti, Arianna Guidi and Loris Vrioni.

34 companies in competition, 30 works presented plus 8 on display, 3 high schools and 22 works from schools: Francesco Orioli art high school in Viterbo, Midossi art high school in Vignanello and Ugo Foscolo art high school in Rome.

“An event and an exhibition – says Pasqualetti – which had an enormous success. Comparing the works of artisans of the past with the works of contemporary artisans was the right choice.”

De Natura, the theme of the competition, with participants asked to reflect on the importance of artistic craftsmanship in the era of artificial intelligence.

The first place winner will receive a prize of 3 thousand euros, a thousand for the second place. Instead, a voucher of one thousand euros goes to the high school for the purchase of teaching materials.

“Shapes and colors – concludes Gismondi – has grown a lot. And with Shapes and Colors, Viterbo has also grown a lot, a city that deserves a lot and which has all the characteristics to become an area of ​​national importance on a tourist level”.
