Crotone – It was truly a celebration for everyone, for the children and their families, in the populous Farina neighborhood. In particular, the third edition of “Children celebrating” this year it was divided into two days, Saturday 3 May and Sunday 4, with everything needed to bring a neighborhood to life and introduce some hidden corners.
Yes, right behind the Sisa supermarket there is a large garden and a large area where, over the two days, everyone experienced and rediscovered an important area of the city. «An event not only for our neighborhood but for the whole city, the families responded well – the president of the Tufolo Farina Committee told us, Alfonso Gaetano – those who consider it a dormitory neighborhood do not experience it fully. We are trying to make it come alive because people need these moments of meeting».
Twenty-five thousand inhabitants between Tufolo and Farina, and the problems are just as many: «We form the GDP of the Municipality of Crotone, and we deserve more attention. Let’s think for example about roads and traffic. To paraphrase a great singer, this problem is taking away the best years of our lives. Not only that, some streets have no sidewalks, we have sewage drains. We deserve more attention, that’s all.”
