The sports manager and former footballer Franco Baresi was also there today at the volunteer party organized by the Opera Pia Ss. Redentore of Castelverde. Meanwhile, in the morning, the “Valerio Farina” award was awarded to Franco Neviani which he has distinguished himself for having over many years served the community by helping the weakest. The Farina award is important for Castelverde, given the importance of the character who died prematurely at the age of 43 in 1991, who was president of the Opera Pia (1988-1991) and held many positions at an ecclesial and civil level.
Again this morning, at the end of the celebration of the Holy Mass, it was a new minibus donated to the Pia work by Bianca Sambusseti, sole director of the Cavel industry of Cremona, in memory of her brother Antonio, who passed away prematurely in 2018 and of the Community Foundation of the Province of Cremona. The gift, very precious as he underlined Don Claudio Rasoliis equipped for the transport for disabled people.
This year’s celebration is deeply felt by the people of Castelverde and the next edition is already being planned.
