Senna Day, after 30 years Carlo Ametrano of Positanonews remembers the great Formula One driver in Imola. A huge success, an evening to remember all in the name of Ayrton Senna. The Senna Day organized by Carlo Ametrano was incredible. From every point of view: the organizational one above all. An event in which there was a single great objective: to celebrate the great Ayrton, who unfortunately passed away 30 years ago, right in Imola. How to define all this: a great miracle by Carlo Ametrano who, very happy with the success of the event, said that tribute to Ayrton could not have been paid better than it was done.
The press conference was hosted by Carlo Ametrano, as well as organizer of the event, and Pasquale Buondonno. The two of them had the pleasure of juggling the interventions of the many guests who had the opportunity to speak and to be able to tell what Senna has always represented: journalists, writers and at the same time drivers. All those who had the opportunity to share something with Senna and who wanted to tell it at the Senna Day event, to Carlo Ametrano’s microphones.
At the end of the evening, held near the Agriturismo Cantine Zuffa in Imola, the McLaren moment with Piergiorgio Rotter was unmissable. Immediately afterwards, there was room for the large and long dinner obviously made available by Augusto Zuffa’s Agriturismo which, obviously, could not miss the wine tasting, one of the farm’s specialities. To conclude, Carlo Ametrano sincerely thanks all the people who chose to come to Senna Day, from the guests of honor to the public who chose to want to remember as best they could the figure of a pilot who, despite the fatal fate, he gave so much to Formula 1 and beyond.
