Last Saturday, in Cosenza, a script was staged already written: goal in the fifth by Mazzocchi and double by Tutino shortly after. A start disconcerting which inevitably precluded the hopes of comeback of the red and whites. A problem, that of the goals conceded at the start, which gripped the Galletti throughout the season and which was constant throughout the championship. Let’s analyze all the times it happened.
PISA-BARI 1-1 – On the fifth matchday, Bari, playing in Pisa, immediately began their uphill game, with a goal scored in the 12th minute. The author of the excellent marking is Beruatto who, with a precise volley, finds the corner of the goal. A shot of remarkable workmanship, but the red and white rearguard guiltily leaves him alone. Bari equalized late on with a debut goal by Akpa Chukwuin splits, after a good raid by Dorval.
PARMA-BARI 2-1 – After just two days, in the seventh, Bari starts trailing again, with the league leaders, in the 15th minute. Usual goal from the ex for the Bari native Partipilo who manages to find the top corner with a wonderful curling shot. Bari equalized at the start of the second half with Nasti, after an oversight by the Emilian defence, only to be punished towards the end by an easy tap-in from Benedyczak.
REGGIANA-BARI 1-1 – Two more days pass, we are on the ninth, the last of Mignani and the script is the same. Dorval leaves the right wing exposed, Girma starts in progression and Vicari does not cover adequately. The result is a great shot under the crossbar that leaves Brenno no chance. The cockerels equalized on the half hour mark with a feat of Of Caesar.
BRESCIA-BARI 1-2 – On the eleventh day, this time under the management of Marine, Bari goes behind once again. Di Cesare holds Bianchi in the air and the referee awards the penalty. From the diskette Moncini displaces Brenno. Bari manages to come back in the second half thanks to a nice goal in progression Diaw and to a winning splash of Vicars.
CATANZARO-BARI 2-0 – Let’s jump to the second round, matchday twenty-seven, with Iachini on the bench. Ready to go and Bari wastes a sensational opportunity with Lulic, only to be punished in the 4th minute with a wonderful free kick from Vandeputte. In the second half Iemmello closes the score.
VENICE-BARI 3-1 – Twenty-ninth day and a nightmare start for the cockerels. At minute 3 Gytkjaer finds the goal from a corner after a precise one blown away by Svoboda, while, in the 15th minute, Altare scores in the same way, again on Svoboda’s side. At the end of the first half Puscas Shortens the result, but in the 90th minute Pohjanpalo closes the score.
BARI-CREMONESE 1-2 – At the thirty-second minute Bari goes under after a few seconds. Insistent action by Tsadjout, rearguard sleep; Sernicola takes advantage of this and puts the ball back in the middle, which caroms over the legs of Maiello and the result is an unfortunate own goal. In the second half the Lombards doubled their lead with Collocolo. Edjouma’s late goal was useless.
BARI-PISA 1-1 – Day 34, before management Giampaolor. Bari fell behind against the Pisans after a very short time, precisely in the 3rd minute; great work by Arena on the wing who puts it in the middle and finds Calabresi very free who makes a precise conclusion. Bari set the final score at 1-1 thanks to a penalty from Puscas.
COSENZA-BARI 4-1 – It’s recent history, matchday number 35. In the fifth minute, a free kick for the Calabrians, a shot at the far post and a shot from Mazzocchi into an empty net. A few minutes later Tutino doubled the lead, following an incursion by Marras. Bari shortens at the end of the first half with Nastibut the comeback was thwarted by a masterpiece free kick from Calò and Forte’s goal into an empty net which closed the score.
