Thus the president of Confindustria Cosenza Giovan Battista Perciaccante welcomes the arrival of the Head of State scheduled for next Tuesday 30 April at the Agri-food District of the Cosenza area, included in a territorial area that originates in the industrial area of the city, includes the University of Calabria, expands into the production area of Mongrassano, takes shape, extends and is completed in the Sibaritide area with little more than 30 municipalities that surround it.
“Around the production realities that will be the subject of a visit, the Gias of Mongrassano and Granarolo di Castrovillari – specifies President Perciaccante – are present important agricultural companies included in the short transformation chain, thus as in the quality production of fruit and vegetables destined for the primary markets of fresh, both domestic and foreign. A set of companies in which the activities of the sector agricultural, those in the industrial transformation sector and those in the tertiary sector, both traditional and innovative, they have reached a level of production network and truly excellent functional integration”.
The leaders of Confindustria Cosenza which is joined by those of Unindustria Calabria underline the extraordinary nature of the event capable of turning the national spotlight on the potential of a territory little known to most and on a topic, that of work, of absolute importance for the economic growth of the communities. The ceremony dedicated to the workers includes speeches from the president of
Confindustria Cosenza Giovan Battista Perciaccante, who will open the proceedings, by the president of Granarolo Gianpiero Calzolari, the workers’ representative Gaetano Piraino, the Minister of Labor Marina Calderone with the expected conclusions of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.
