The question of time, both that which has passed and that which will come, is closely linked to the destiny of Pistoia. What is certain is that all the bad memories linked to Maurizio De Simone and your time in Orange will have to be erased as soon as possible from the collective imagination of the city. Learning from the mistakes of the past to build a better future, in the name of transparency: this is what those who love Hollandesina will have to do. Yet, at the moment, it seems that the actors involved in the restart prefer not to fully involve the city in the various developments. After the exclusion of the team from the championship, the first sign of opening was given by Sergio Iorio, who made himself available to take part in the rebirth of the orange club, assuming the presentation of a concrete project by the end of May . Yesterday, forty-eight hours later, Mayor Alessandro Tomasi also moved his role, through a note confirming the administration’s willingness “to evaluate any serious, transparent and credible project and to work to create fertile ground around an idea that goes in this direction. We work towards a restart that is based on the desire to achieve results but, above all, on the need to recreate enthusiasm around the orange team, to regroup that healthy support that distinguishes us.”

However, despite the desire to procrastinate (“We are in a delicate moment, without interlocutors and waiting for the appointment of the Curator”, wrote Tomasi) which can be seen from the declarations, the reality of the facts says that some steps have already been taken. The first dialogues between the parties have in fact already taken place, albeit with the utmost confidentiality in light of the delicacy of such an operation. And the preliminary project would already be there: news will emerge well before the end of May, when, presumably, we could be close to announcing the restart of the activity. All that remains is to remain at the window, waiting for more substantial passages to emerge into the sunlight, also because it cannot be ruled out that different groups may emerge.
