“My apartment was devastated, damage amounting to 200 thousand euros”

“Ramazzotti destroyed my house but now he refuses to pay the damages”: this is the title of an article in the newspaper ‘La Verità’ which reports the dispute between Eros Ramazzotti and Paolo Rossian auditor who is the singer’s neighbor in the CityLife neighborhood of Milan. The man says he asked 200 thousand euros in compensation to the singer for i alleged damage caused to his home by the renovation works of the apartment purchased by Ramazzotti on the upper floor. His lawyers Fabio Lepri e Salvatore PinoRossi’s defenders, speak of “literally devastating work, which seriously damaged the apartment below” that of their client.

The singer, however, would have rejected any responsibility. The manager, Gaetano Puglisisole director of Radiorama, the record label founded in 1994 by the singer-songwriter, issued a note: “What we are learning from the press is an incomplete and misleading version which does not represent the situation in which the properties of Dr. Rossi and Ramazzotti find themselves who, to date, is the owner of the only unusable apartment in the building. The proceedings before the Court – we read – are ongoing and in this judgment are involved, in addition to Dr. Rossi and Ramazzotti, many other subjects, precisely to verify what and who is responsible for what happened.”

“According to our technicians – continues Ramazzotti’s manager – the damage that Dr. Rossi may have suffered amounts to an amount far and substantially lower than what is reported in the press headlines. It will naturally be the technical consultant appointed by the Court who will verify the objective amount, with a technical and balanced judgment in which he trusts”.

“It is unfortunate that we are trying to draw conclusions, which only the ongoing trial will be able to give, taking advantage of the media coverage of the matter and thus continuing to make more difficult a dialogue for which Ramazzotti has always been available despite the total absence of his direct responsibilities,” concludes the note.
