The story began 50 years ago with dad Vittorio and is continuing with the lady Bruna Cerea and his five children: the eldest Enrico said Chicco, Roberto, Francesco, Barbara and Rossella. Each of them has chosen a different branch and work in different locations. These are joined by DAV Milano by Da Vittorio, DaV by Da Vittorio Louis Vuitton (Louis Vuitton’s first Italian restaurant), DaV Mare and DaV Cantalupa.

La Cantalupa is the specialized structure for banquets and events. This location joins the main one in Brusaporto, Da Vittorio Relais & Chateaux (the three-starred restaurant). It is located in via Cantalupa 7 and is the one that will welcome guests of New Year 2026. The staff has developed a high-level menu, designed as if it were a real journey of taste that will culminate in the traditional midnight toast, which will welcome the new year.

  • Basket of carasau bread with spinach, quail egg and Benedict sauce
  • Charcoal focaccia bread with smoked salmon, whipped crème fraîche with chives and avocado

The pasta is creamed with a fresh sauce based on three types of tomatoes: San Marzano, datterino and cherry tomatoes are used, and then complete the dish with basil, oil, garlic and butter.

Celebrating Da Vittorio means putting up a considerable expense, which however reflects both the prestige of the cuisine and the name behind it, with its decades of history and successes. We are talking about a restaurant that obtained the first Michelin Star in 1978, doubled in 1996 to culminate with the third Star in 2010. It is included among the best places in the world, but also among the most expensive. In the ranking of the most expensive starred restaurants in Italy, Da Vittorio’s menu is in second place, preceded only by that of Villa Crespi by chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo. The New Year’s Eve menu at La Cantalupa this year is expensive 320 euro per personwith wines and suggested drinks included and champagne excluded. Obviously booking is mandatory, because places are limited.
